Bring water to a boil.

Step 2

Pour ground coffee and cayenne pepper into a French press.

Step 3

Add hot water to the French press.

Step 4

Put the lid on and let it steep for 4 minutes, then press the plunger down.

Step 5

Pour coffee into a pitcher or equivalent container and let it cool.

Step 6

Put ice cubes into a tall glass, then pour coffee.

Step 7

Add maple syrup. Stir in well.

Step 8

Garnish with a dash of cayenne pepper (optional) and serve!

Iced cayenne pepper coffee is a blend of black coffee and warm spice, so it tastes different from a traditional cup of coffee. It may take some tweaks to find out exactly how much spiciness you prefer in your cup of coffee.

  • 25g ground coffee
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper powder
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 8-10 ice cubes
  • 25oz water

Instructions

    1. Bring water to a boil.
