Note: If you’re looking for a Keurig coffee maker that has an iced coffee specific setting, currently the only Keurig model that has this option is the Keurig K-Elite Coffee Maker. But even if you don’t have this model at home, you can still make iced coffee easily no matter which Keurig model you have.

Why use a Keurig to make iced coffee?

Making iced coffee with a Keurig is a quick option when you don’t have time to clean up, don’t want any extra steps to grind coffee beans and are having one of those ‘I just need coffee now’ kind of moments.

We do recommend trying cold brew coffee, our preferred brewing method for cold coffee. With a Primula cold brew coffee maker, you can make a batch in advance that will last for a few days. So when you need coffee now, you would already have it in the fridge.

But the cold brew coffee brewing method takes around 12 hours and needs planning ahead before you can drink it. So for now, making Keurig iced coffee is an alternative. It’s one way to get a cup of iced coffee quickly.

What You Need to Make Keurig Iced Coffee

How to Make Iced Coffee With a Keurig

Brew a cup of Keurig coffee at the smallest setting using one K Cup pod into a mug. My K Mini Single Serve Coffee Maker’s smallest is at 6 ounces. Meanwhile, add ice cubes into a glass.

When the first K Cup is done brewing, use the second K Cup to brew more coffee again at the smallest setting in the same cup. I had 12 ounces of coffee in total. I brew it in a separate mug, not the glass, so it has a chance to cool. I don’t brew it directly into my glass with the ice so the ice doesn’t melt immediately when the hot water hits the ice cubes.

Once the coffee has cooled a bit, pour it into the glass with the ice. Add any creamer or coffee syrup, stir and enjoy your Keurig iced coffee made in just 5 minutes or less.

Here are the steps to make Keurig iced coffee in pictures:

Step 3
