Salted Caramel White Mocha Cold Brew Ingredients

Tips for Making Salted Caramel White Mocha Cold Brew

Cold Brew

I used Stone Cold Jo coffee beans.

Making cold brew coffee is easy, but you’ll need plenty of time to let the coffee steep. It takes around 12-15 hours to steep the ground coffee in room temperature water. Note that you do not need to use coffee beans that are labeled as cold brew coffee beans and can use any of your favorite coffee beans.

Check out our guide to making cold brew coffee at home – with 3 easy methods.

I used the French press method by grinding the coffee beans with my Hario Skerton grinder coarsely, then placing it in the French press. I add water, mix, then place the lid on top. After 12 hours, I push the plunger down and pour the cold brew coffee into a mason jar to store in the refrigerator.

White Chocolate Sauce

I used Torani White Chocolate Sauce

You can also melt white chocolate chips and mix that in with your coffee.

Cold Foam Liquid Ratio

I made my cold foam non dairy this time. So I used oat milk and frothed it in my milk frother. It doesn’t hold up as well as my usual ratio of 3 tablespoons of skim milk and 1 tablespoon of heavy whipping cream. But it will still create a layer on top of the cold brew.

Check out my guide to making cold brew here. I go in depth with other ratios you can use, including alternatives if you don’t have a milk frother at home.

Caramel Sauce

I used Torani Caramel Sauce to drizzle on top of the cold foam.

To add the caramel flavor to the cold foam, you can also mix caramel syrup with the salt and milk in your preferred frothing method.

Or do that and add caramel sauce on top for extra caramel flavor.
