Chocolate and coffee were made for each other. And these flavors go really well together in a cheesecake.

My no bake mocha cheesecake features a crust made out of Oreo cookies and a filling made with cream cheese, sugar, cocoa powder and my favorite instant coffee. It’s so simple to put together.

And to make it even easier, no baking is required.

Just make sure to give it some time to chill in the refrigerator. I like to give it at least 6 hours, or overnight. Then have fun adding toppings and decorating the cheesecake before serving. Enjoy!

Tips for Making a No Bake Mocha Cheesecake

The Crust

I made an easy crust using Oreo cookies and butter. Save some Oreos so you can use it for decorating your no bake mocha cheesecake.

You can use a food processor to crush these cookies, or use a mortar and pestle as I did. I melted the butter in the microwave and mixed it with the cookie crumbs.

If you prefer, you can also change it up and use other cookies for the crust, like graham crackers or even a ready made crust for faster preparation.

The Filling

Cream Cheese

Make sure to take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator prior to making your cheesecake. It’s easier to work with room temperature cream cheese, as it will be softer to mix with your other ingredients.

Powdered Sugar

I used one cup of powdered sugar to sweetened the cheesecake filling mixture. Taste your cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder and instant coffee filling before folding in the whipped heavy cream.

If you feel you prefer the cheesecake a little sweeter, add more powdered sugar. You can adjust the flavors you prefer accordingly. I serve my pieces of cheesecake with chocolate sauce, whipped cream and chocolate chips, so I find the filling sweet enough.

The Coffee

I used Nescafe Clasico instant coffee.

This is the instant coffee I tend to use when I bake and make desserts that I want to add a coffee flavor too. Feel free to use your favorite instant coffee brand that you like the taste of.

If you don’t have a favorite instant coffee, or are looking for a new one to try, I recommend Nescafe Clasico. Or check out our 6 favorite brands.

Here’s the list to purchase on Amazon too:

You can also use decaf instant coffee if you do not want to have any caffeine in your cheesecake.

The Toppings

I used whipped cream, Oreos and coffee beans to decorate the top of my cheesecake.
