As much as I love a good espresso from one of those fancy espresso machines, I also love convenience via instant coffee.

So when I found out there was an instant coffee that doesn’t sacrifice taste, I had to try it. It being Javy ‘s coffee concentrate.

What is Javy coffee concentrate?

Javy coffee concentrate is a concentrated coffee. All you need to do to drink it is add about one to two teaspoons of it to water and you immediately have coffee.

Does Javy Coffee have caffeine?

There’s about 60-80mg of caffeine per serving of the concentrate, so you can have your daily caffeine fix really fast each morning. They also have a decaf version if you’re looking for coffee without a caffeine buzz.

Does Javy Coffee need to be refrigerated?

The bottle does does state that you should refrigerate it after opening.

While I tried the original flavor, they have a ton of other flavors to choose from, like french vanilla, maple, mocha, cinnamon caramel cream.

Plus, the Javy brand also makes a protein coffee, so you can get your caffeine and protein fix in one go, keto-friendly collagen creamers, and an assortment of low calorie coffee syrups to spruce up a regular cup of coffee.

Now you might be wondering, how simple is it really to make Javy coffee? Here’s how…

Tips for Making Javy Coffee

The concentrate

Javy offers so many different flavors of the concentrate. So if you’re craving just a particular flavor of coffee and don’t want to spend time adding other syrups and sauces, Javy makes it so easy.

If you’re new to coffee concentrates, I’d start with the Original flavor to see if you like the taste of the coffee to begin with. And it’s also a great base so you can experiment with some fun coffee recipes – like my ube coffee or dulce de leche latte or something a little more elaborate like Swedish egg coffee.

But the beauty of the concentrate is that you’ll have your coffee base made so quickly and can spend the other time figuring out which drink you want to make.

Do you have to mix Javy concentrate with water?

The concentrate is so versatile. If you fancy a hot coffee, add the concentrate to hot water. Or want an iced coffee? Add a teaspoon of the concentrate to cold water. I’ve also tried adding it directly into oat milk so I could have a coffee flavored oat milk and it tastes great.

  1. Add 1 teaspoon of Javy coffee concentrate to 1 cup of water. That’s it.
  2. Mix in sweetener, cold foam, or milk of choice (optional).
