Coffee at Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg Russia

St. Isaac Cathedral next to Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg

Inside this well guarded luxury hotel is a maze. It was not easy to find our rooms even after several tries on the third floor. Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg is an authentic 19th century Russian palace where most of the original beauty has been restored including the grand stairway, atrium, hall and two lion statues at the front entrance.

Décor and ambience
Coffee is readily available at Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace. Every room at the hotel comes with an Illy espresso machine accompanied by two Kiki Smith espresso cups.

Tea Lounge is the place for coffee during breakfast and afternoon tea. The glass-roofed atrium provides natural light and cheery atmosphere in the room. Green and yellow sofas and chairs provide a comfortable and luxurious dining experience.

Coffee: Type, price and taste
Filter coffee, Americano, espresso, macchiato, cappuccino and latte are available on the breakfast and afternoon tea menu.

You can’t go wrong ordering a Belgian waffle served with maple syrup and whipped cream with a pot of filter coffee. Some of our favorites were cabbage pirozhki and blini (Russian pancakes).

The service at The Terrace Lounge was outstanding. Catherine was knowledgeable and attentive.

How to get there
